Maybe ban the word "retard" along with "dumb", and all variants thereof.
Since using those words seems to get you an instaban with no appeal, it doesn't seem worth allowing people to use them lmao
@Flioghty I got heated and said things which I honestly wouldn't say again if I could do it over again.
I was heated during a solid chunk of actual administrative abuse, and mistakes were made on both sides. Although I won't stand down to people being outright bullies like Nim, the way I did so wasn't appropriate.
It does seem kind of skeevy that the first warning I receive about that results in an immediate permanent ban with no chance for appeal.
I really hope that's not the kind of behavior you're looking to tolerate.
What is your in-game name? arquiusGuy What date were you banned? 12/11/18 tempban, 12/12/18 permaban Who banned you? Nims at first, and then Niko Why were you banned? By Nims tempban, by Niko permaban because I had been rude to Nims. Why do you want to be unbanned? I won't be that caustic in chat again, if that's the problem at hand. Provide a screenshot that is presented when trying to login to DogeCraft
I think it would make the most sense to just have a "Shop" channel in the Discord where people can post the location, res tp information, and stock of their shop.
Sidesteps the advertising issue and also gets word out about shops for people.
Preferably one post per shop so posts don't get drowned there too.
Enforcement of the caps rule is silly on the server at the moment.
People get warnings/mutes/kicks for individual messages, and I don't see why it should be a problem when there's tools that can
A. Set uppercase messages to lowercase
B. Automatically stop spam
This is one example of a chat bot that exists to REDUCE the number of moderator interventions needed, and I cannot imagine a reason to not have this kind of thing which through existing would mean fewer people need to get kicked/warned/etc.
@Niko302 If there's a reason for not running this kind of tool, I'm curious to know what it is.
