Do you have access to discord and a working microphone?
Yes I do
Do you have screenshotting software such as Gyazo, Lightshot, Imgur?
I have access to Imgur. Although I also have access to a Print Screen Command.
Do you have the ability to record Minecraft videos?
Yes, but I have deleted the software and need new software to record again.
Are you multilingual (Speak more than one language)?
How much time do you have to contribute to the role?
I can spend either most or all of my time when I am not out and working or driving people places.
What is encouraging you to become a Helper on DogeCraft?
What encourages me to be a Helper is the community itself. It seems to be quite a good-natured community and I want to help keep it that way. It'd be pretty nice to see this server grow bigger and see a lot of cool builds made by the community that isn't griefed.
Why should we choose you over other applicants?
As the community grows, it'll become a lot harder to manage, and when Staff is either busy or currently not online (as they all have their own respective lives) and as we've seen so far is that there are instances where both bots and griefers come time and time again which load more work onto the staff. Sometimes staff cannot come online and the players would most likely have a bad experience all around. As I've seen that I can be online when a lot of the staff isn't on, I can be a great addition in covering the areas where most inactivity for the staff isn't available. Plus, I'm quite quick to react in terms of any instances going on that requires staff attention.
Have you ever been banned or punished on any server? If so please include details.
As far as I can remember, no. Except for the wheat farm when I did not plant any of the Chorus Flowers as I wasn't aware of any stores that sold Chorus Flowers or had knowledge of the End Resident that was available. As for how I came across this, I didn't read the sign and had forgotten that Chorus Flowers does not drop when you break the base of the stem. This was a fault of my own, but I am currently trying to make up for it and watch over the Resident, Wheat when I can.
Tell us about a time you made a mistake within the last year? How did you deal with it? What did you learn? (Can be anything)
If we're talking about the mistakes on the server, I have learned about the Chorus Flower and having more accessibility on retrieving it. As for how I dealt with it, it was more Taylor dealing with it as I wasn't sure at the time where to retrieve the Chorus Flower. I did offer a new way of farming the Chorus Flowers, but Taylor refused which is respectable as it is her farm. I learned the new places to retrieve the Chorus Flowers and to probably best to stock up on Chorus Flowers just in case I do the same action again on accident. This way I will have a Chorus Flower in hand ready.
But if we're talking about in real life situations I have encountered. I work Retail at the moment so every day has different encounters. My largest mistake was a Tax Exempt screw up, as I did not do a Tax Exempt the first time for the woman and she was quite unhappy as I didn't take off the Tax of the... well... Tax Exempt. As I attempted to refund and redo the Tax Exempt, it did not work the first or second time as all it did was 0 out the payment. So after the second attempt, I called my manager, and she showed me how to properly do it as I needed to temporarily add a large item (such as a $300 Mechanic's Cart) and then do the Tax Exempt, head back to the main prompt and then delete the item so that it would be the refund of the items and the purchase of the items (this way it 0's it out) and refunds the tax that she spent.
If you have any, what hobbies or activities are you involved in outside of Minecraft?
I currently work Retail. As for hobbies, I just try and get better at SSBU (Super Smash Brothers Ultimate) or just draw.
Do you have any previous server moderation or leadership experience?
Yes, I actually do on the platform named BYOND in the game called Dragon Universe. I was staff on multiple servers (at different times) and at one point I sort of inherited a server as the owner had suddenly quit the server and shoved responsibility on the other members of staff. So asking on what we should do, I and the others in the staff team all came together and hosted the server for the rest of our community. In total years, about 3-4 years of staffing. Mainly on an RP server.
What would help to keep you most motivated within a staff team?
It's actually quite simple. Just be around, as long as staff is still here as the owner, that shows that the server hasn't died (if it ever comes to that point which I doubt) and it shows that I am not working for someone who ghosts.
